Ellen Timberlake-Volz has been an insurance agent and registered representative since 1993. Ellen is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with Osaic Wealth, Inc.
Mrs. Timberlake-Volz is a graduate of Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, Texas, where she received the Marian Award as Outstanding Senior Girl. In 2023, she was inducted into the Nolan Catholic High School Hall of Fame for representing the school motto "Esto Dux -- Be A Leader" throughout her life. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communication from the University of Texas in Arlington and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.
Ellen earned the Certified Financial PlannerTM certification in January 2006. She became an insurance agent because of a desire to help people make good financial decisions based on understandable information. She says, "Insurance and investment terminology can be complicated. I try to explain complex issues in terms people can understand. Then it becomes easier for them to make decisions and helps them to avoid mistakes because they didn’t know what questions to ask."
In addition to her business activities, Ellen is active in her church as well as her community, where she serves as board president for Dance Theatre of Arlington. She received the John D. South "Spirit of Extension" Award in 2005 for her volunteer work with Tarrant County AgriLife Extension and the Financial Literacy Coalition. She was nominated for Arlington`s Woman of the Year as a result of her community involvement. Since winning the title America’s Most Gifted Wrapper in 2000, Ellen has served as a gift wrapping consultant and national spokesperson for 3M Scotch Brand. She is a fourth generation Texan and has lived in Arlington, Texas, since 1966.
